Jeff Jones

Acknowledged in international scientific journals as a leading expert in Forensic Restoration™ and decontamination, Jeff Jones is a former U.S. Army soldier, SWAT team leader, counterterrorism specialist, and the youngest person to attend the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Widely recognized for his expertise in fentanyl, biohazard, and WMD decontamination, he holds multiple certifications including Certified Bio-Forensic Restoration Specialist®, Certified High Risk/High Level Decontamination Specialist™, and Certified Forensic Operator®, with more than 50 years of field experience.

Jeff is a Certified Crime Scene Track Investigator and Search and Rescue Tracker, a past president of the Restoration Industry Association (RIA), and the founding chairman of its Forensic Council. He co-edited the RIA Guidelines for Professional Forensic Restoration™ and contributed to the ANSI/IICRC S540 Standard for Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup. A founding member of Bio-Sheen Services LLC in Oklahoma City, he developed the Microbial Warrior® System of Forensic Restoration™ and serves as Master Trainer for the Microbial Warrior Training Academy, teaching Forensic Restoration™ protocols across the U.S., Europe, the Mediterranean, and Latin America.

Lori Jones

Acknowledged in international scientific journals as a leading expert in Forensic Restoration™ and decontamination, Lori Jones was named R&R’s 2024 Woman in Restoration. She is a Certified Forensic Operator®, Certified High Risk/High Level Decontamination Specialist™, and Certified Bio-Forensic Restoration Specialist®.

Lori is a founding member of Bio-Sheen Services LLC in Oklahoma City and Bio-Sheen of Texas, as well as a co-author of the RIA Forensic Guidelines. She currently serves as a Master Trainer for Microbial Warrior® International and brings more than 15 years of hands-on field experience across a wide range of Forensic Restoration™ incidents, including infectious disease, homicide, suicide, accidental, natural, and unattended death remediation.

A Certified Crime Scene Track Investigator and Certified Master Rug Cleaner®, Lori is known for her attention to detail and compassionate approach, bringing both technical expertise and a servant’s heart to every situation she serves.

David Hart

David Hart is a U.S. Army veteran and Certified Forensic Operator with extensive field experience in HVAC cleaning and decontamination across residential, commercial, and high‑risk environments, including crime scenes, illicit drug contamination, and bioterrorism‑related incidents. He authored the HVAC standards for Forensic Restoration™ and serves on Microbial Warrior’s Biosecurity Emergency Response Team (BERT) and Scientific Operators Group (SOG), collectively known as BERT‑SOG.

He is the originator of the Positive Air Duct Cleaning™ method, a modern HVAC decontamination approach recognized as the most effective methodology for cleaning HVAC systems and the only method compatible with contemporary flexible ductwork.

Hart holds multiple U.S. patents for groundbreaking HVAC cleaning and decontamination equipment. He is the author of multiple peer‑reviewed research papers on HVAC cleaning pressures, and his research stands as the field’s primary source of reference for HVAC decontamination in contaminated and high‑risk settings. His work focuses on developing evidence‑based HVAC decontamination protocols for complex contamination scenarios.

Barry Costa

Barry Costa is a respected leader in the cleaning, restoration, and carpet installation industries with more than 50 years of experience. He holds a BS in Education from Springfield College and began his career as a public school teacher before joining his family’s business, Costa Carpet Company, and later owning Carpet & Cleaning Craftsman, Inc. in Peterborough, New Hampshire.

Barry holds numerous professional certifications including IICRC Certified Master Cleaner, Master Restorer, and Senior Carpet Inspector, as well as CFI Master Carpet Installer and FITC certified instructor. He has played a major role in shaping industry standards, contributing to multiple ANSI/IICRC standards including S500, S520, and S600, and serving in leadership roles within the IICRC, including Board of Directors member and Standards Committee Chair.

An IICRC-approved instructor since 1986, Barry has taught restoration and installation training programs across the United States and internationally. He is widely recognized for his dedication to education and mentorship and has received numerous industry honors, including CleanFax Person of the Year and the John Mauciere Excellence in Education Award.

Artemis Ag Solutions

Dr. Mark D. Tucker, Ph.D., P.E.

Dr. Mark D. Tucker is a civil engineer with Artemis Ag Solutions specializing in biological pathogen disinfection, toxic chemical decontamination, environmental remediation, and water and wastewater treatment technologies. He previously spent 35 years at Sandia National Laboratories as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff, where he developed innovative technologies for decontaminating chemical and biological warfare agents and remediating hazardous environmental contaminants.

Dr. Tucker is the co-inventor of Sandia Decontamination Foam (DF-100) and the inventor of the enhanced DF-200 formulation, widely used by military, first responders, and industry for chemical and biological decontamination. He holds 20 U.S. patents related to decontamination and environmental remediation technologies and has led major projects funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of Defense focused on restoring critical infrastructure following hazardous material releases.

He holds advanced engineering degrees from University of New Mexico and University of Texas at Austin and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of New Mexico.

Keri Lestage

Keri began her career in research and development at The Clorox Company, where she developed expertise in disinfectant formulation and public health program implementation. While leading an R&D team in the Clorox Professional Products Division, she helped bridge technical innovation with commercial application and played a key role in developing a partnership with ByoPlanet International.

Recognizing the potential of electrostatic spray technology in the cleaning and disinfection industry, Keri co-developed the collaboration that led to the launch of the first Clorox-branded electrostatic device. She later joined ByoPlanet International as Vice President of Research and Development and subsequently became Chief Science Officer, leading scientific innovation and product development.

Keri holds a B.S. in Biochemical Engineering from University of Western Ontario and a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from University of Southern Mississippi. She lives in Dublin, Ireland with her husband and three children.

Joe Drake is Vice President of Artemis Ag Solutions and brings more than 20 years of hands-on project management experience in executive leadership roles. He has managed and directed large-scale construction projects ranging from $1 million to $355 million, consistently delivering projects on schedule.

In addition to his construction and operations background, Joe has more than 18 years of experience in business development, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and field operations involving DF chemistry. His work focuses on applying specialized decontamination chemistry and project management expertise to complex remediation and environmental response projects.

Brad Smith is a biosecurity and environmental decontamination industry leader with
more than two decades of experience advancing technologies that address biological
contamination, infection control, and hazardous material response. He specializes in

systems, and industrial organizations.

Brad serves in a leadership role at Artemis Bio-Solutions, where he leads strategic
partnerships, technology commercialization, and global distribution of next-generation
